menu_book Instructions

1

Soak the gelatin

Place the gelatin in cold water and let it soak for about 5 minutes, until soft. If using powdered gelatin, follow the package instructions to bloom it in cold water!

2

Heat the cream

Pour the cream into a small pot, add the sugar, and heat on low heat while stirring. The cream should become warm and the sugar should fully dissolve, but do not let it boil!

3

Add the gelatin

Turn off the heat. Remove the softened gelatin from the water, squeeze out the excess liquid, and add it to the warm cream. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved and no lumps remain.

4

Add vanilla

Add vanilla extract if using, and mix gently.

5

Pour into molds

Pour the mixture into small cups or molds. Let it cool slightly at room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator.

6

Refrigerate

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the panna cotta is fully set and softly firm.

7

Serve

Serve cold with fruit, caramel, or your favorite topping!

The key is gentle heating - never boil the cream! The gelatin needs warm (not hot) cream to dissolve smoothly. Buon appetito! 🍮✨
